Chief Executive, Easton at Steiner + Associates, Inc.

Jen joined Steiner + Associates in 2015 and oversees the entire Easton property in the Chief Executive role. She is responsible for creating an environment that enhances the customer experience, drives tenant sales and positions Easton for continued growth.  She works to create an emotional connection between Easton and its guests, delivering compelling, engaging and memorable experiences. In 2019, Easton was named the No. 1 Retail Center Experience in America, as well as a Columbus Foundation #1 Designee. With the COVID-19 pandemic and the post-quarantine, safe restart of the shopping destination, her work became even more challenging. Jen and her team worked around the clock to ensure that all guests could feel safe returning to Easton, as well, that they would also have a positive, uplifting experience. As a result of these efforts, Easton was tapped as a Top10 COMEBACK Center by Chain Store Age magazine.

In her Chief Executive role, Jen also leads the Easton Community Foundation’s work, which gives back to the community through charitable gifts, partnerships, event support and volunteerism. The Foundation has delivered over $8M in direct funding to local nonprofits since its inception. Through the quarantine of 2020, the Foundation’s work has had to go more behind the scenes and included organizing & delivering nearly 4,000 meal donations to frontline hospital workers and first responders, which she spearheaded.

Before joining Steiner + Associates, she led a prolific career in branding, marketing and merchandising, starting in Chicago at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising. She most recently prior served as the Vice President, Product & Marketing for Jewell, a fashion handbag & accessories start-up in the direct sales arena, while also continuing to own and operate JCP Brand Consulting, the business she founded in 2012.

Jen has also held various other leadership positions within the fashion retail industry, including 16 years with L. Brands. Her first role there was with Lane Bryant, a plus-size women’s apparel retailer, which she re-positioned to be a fashion brand. During her time with Victoria’s Secret, she was an integral part of the team responsible for launching the PINK brand, now delivering over $2 billion in sales.  And, as Vice president, Brand and General Manager for C.O. Bigelow Shops, she delivered turnaround results, including 11 quarters of double-digit growth.

A University of Michigan graduate, Jen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology there. Always very active in her community, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Center for Healthy Families, Leadership Columbus, where she was part of the Graduating Class of 2016, and Alvis. She is also a member of the Gun Violence Prevention & Safety Taskforce at First Community Church, as well as a Commissioner for the City of Columbus Commission on Black Girls. She held previous Board of Director positions with Dress for Success Columbus (2010-2016) and the CATCO Theatre Company (2008-2016), where she was Board President during the 2012-2013 seasons, as well with The Junior League of Columbus and Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH).

She has received numerous awards, honors and recognition, including being a Columbus Business First “Forty Under 40” recipient; a Columbus Smart50 Award Honoree; the Northwest Volunteer of the Year; a Most Admired Executive/C-Suite Award Honoree in 2019; and, a WELD 2020 Women WELDing the Way Calendar Honoree.

Jen resides in Upper Arlington with husband, Chris, and three children: Isabelle “Issy” (20 – now in college), Amelia “Millie” (17) and Harrison “Harry” (15), as well as their two cats, Zeke & Zeus, and pup, Luna.
