Kurt has over thirty years of professional practice & education. He has a holistic design approach with solutions from a national & international roster of clients with a host of formats. His main focus is environments, fixtures, materials, fit and finishes. These multi-sensory design experiences include; flagships, big box, trade show exhibit, fast casual eateries, & specialty retail brands. Extensive experience as a storyteller that guides projects to successful conclusions. His projects have spanned the globe. Notable projects from New York, New York. Denver, Colorado. Nashville, Tennessee. Seattle, Washington. Beverly Hills & San Francisco, California. Tokyo, Japan. Helsinki, Finland. Manila, Philippines, Casablanca, Morocco have been part of his history . He was recognized for a project that won an award for store of the year. 

He attended The Institute of Design and Construction in New York. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design. (Focus; Interior Design). And a Master of Arts from The Ohio State University. Had considerable professional practice experience with major retail design firms in New York and the Columbus, Ohio area. 

17 years of experience as an educator at The Ohio State University and Columbus College of Art and Design. Taught many classes; Interior Design Studios, Retail Design studios, Art Direction. 3-D design for non-majors. Design visualization for non-majors. These courses touched many majors. He is part of a globally recognized mentorship program for students from a variety of disciplines. This program redefines the students experience at a university and is a predictor of student success.
