Tom Davis, who studied in Columbus, Ohio and Edinburgh, Scotland, has worked in music since 2001, developing a specialty in guitar and jazz. Tom earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Capital University in Columbus and his Master of Music degree in Musicology from The University of Edinburgh.


Tom has been an Adjunct Instructor of Music at Columbus College of Art & Design since January 2015, and has taught such classes as The Fundamentals of Guitar and Music Appreciation. Tom currently teaches Music Appreciation as with a focus on jazz history. Tom is also on the faculty at Kenyon College as an Adjunct Instructor of Guitar and the director of the Kenyon String Jazz Ensemble.


Tom performs regularly with local and international groups, including: Vaughn Wiester's Famous Jazz Orchestra, Pete Mills, Alison Affleck, Willie Nelson Mandela, Flogo Shaggins, Swing's The Thing Big Band, The Ohio Swingtet, and Anna Paolucci.
