About The New Centre

The New Centre is an international, non-profit, higher education institute offering graduate & professional-development level certificate programs, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, residencies, and conferences at the intersection of art, technology, media, philosophy, and politics. The New Centre’s seminar and round-table video archive includes 500+ hours of material amassed since the institute’s founding in Fall 2014, while its twelve Re:search Groups focus upon topics ranging from Accelerationism to New Art and from New Metaphysics to the Anthropocene.

Membership Benefits

CCAD students, faculty, and staff have access to the seminar and roundtable video archive, its numerous seminar-based Google Classrooms (for completed seminars), and its fifteen interactive Re:search Groups on Facebook. From helping CCAD students, faculty, and staff connect to widely-cited emerging thinkers and artists, to providing an array of professional development opportunities for faculty and alumni, the benefits are numerous, and we encourage you to take part in them. Please note: access to currently occurring, live Google Hangouts-based seminars require individual enrollment and payment, although any seminar that is currently occurring or that will occur in the future, will be available in the archive upon completion.

How to gain access

As Institutional Members of The New Centre, CCAD faculty, students, and staff can gain access to the resources in three ways:

  1. For access to the full archive WITH an individually-assigned email address of your own, please email [email protected] and request one. New Centre staff will email you back within 24 hours with your personal email address and password.
  2. For access to the full archive WITHOUT an individually-assigned email address of your own, use CCAD’s institutional login: [email protected] and password: Inspire2018 at http://www.thenewcentre.org/login
  3. For immediate access, without logging in to the website, proceed through the public portal to a portion of the archive: https://thenewcentre.org/public/ Please note: this method only provides to approximately 1/10th of the available resources.
