CCAD MFA candidate Susanne Dotson in Columbus Dispatch

Susanne Dotson (MFA, 2019) creates saturated and graphic images that meld fashion and farming—appropriate for the stylish native of LaGrange, a small town in northeast Ohio. 

The Columbus Dispatch recently featured Dotson, whose unconventional path to a master's degree took her more than 40 years. She earned a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Akron in 1974 and worked in retail, commercial interior design, and other creative endeavors, and maintained a painting practice in her spare time. But after retirement, she moved to Columbus to attend CCAD, and will graduate this May at age 75.
