The Columbus Dispatch checks out CCAD Packard Library’s unusual offerings
If a Columbus College of Art & Design student is in need of a skull, they know just where to go: CCAD’s Packard Library.
The library—which also offers up plenty of art books and periodicals—also provides students, faculty, and staff with more difficult to find items, including skulls, skeletons, mannequins, and even virtual reality viewers for smartphones. Most of those items help students with projects for design or illustration classes, but, noted The Columbus Dispatch in a feature on surprising offerings from local libraries, Packard “also loans light therapy lamps, which can help students overcome the winter doldrums.”
