Columbus International Film + Video Festival announces 2016 lineup
The Columbus International Film + Video Festival kicks off Thursday, April 7, with the world premiere of Who Is Lydia Loveless? at Columbus College of Art & Design.
The film follows Loveless, an Ohio native, and her amazing band in the studio as they lay down tracks for their upcoming record.
And because a great film about a great musician calls for great music, we're proud to welcome director Gorman Bechard and Loveless to CCAD for a Q&A and live concert after the world premiere of the film.
CIF+VF will also feature compelling documentaries, from OYLER, which tells the story of the dramatic turnaround in one of Cincinnati's poorest neighborhoods, to The Anthropologist, which looks at parallel stories of Margaret Mead, who popularized cultural anthropology in America, and Susie Crate, an environmental anthropologist currently studying the impact of climate change.
The festival will also show plenty of other shorts and feature-length films, including award-winning director Isaac Ezban's latest film Los Parecidos (The Similars) and the Sundance Short Film U.S. Jury Award Winner The Procedure.

The Columbus International Film + Video Festival runs April 7-9 at CCAD. Tickets cost $6 and are free for CCAD students.
