International glass exhibition showcases alumni

Fine Arts alumna Angelina Moneir (CCAD 2013) and MFA alumna Linda Diec (CCAD 2013) both have work in the 2013 International Student Online Exhibition presented by the Glass Art Society.

The exhibition features student submissions from 11 countries and a juried catalog of student work.

Moneir's piece, Khelack Ezzaz, investigates the divide between modern industrialized society and the natural world. Diec's Halo, an installation piece, was one of 31 submissions selected for the catalog.

The Glass Art Society is an international nonprofit organization whose purpose is to advance education and promote the appreciation and development of glass arts through conferences, workshops, and exhibitions.

Moneir and Diec are from Columbus, OH. Moneir attended Hoover High School.
