Making history with CCAD
Columbus's arts scene was formed quickly, details historian Ed Lentz in a column for ThisWeek News, who noted, "Since the founding of Columbus in 1812, the town never had been bereft of art and artists."
Lentz's column traces the history of art and its supporters in Columbus, paying special attention to the Columbus Art Association, which was formed in 1878 and helped create what would become Columbus College of Art & Design (originally known as the Columbus Art School). Read more here.
