Orange is the new art: CCAD students create giant construction cone on campus
CCAD is undergoing construction as part of a City of Columbus initiative. And a group of Fine Arts students is having some fun with it. Along with Fine Arts Associate Professor Danielle Julian Norton, the students made a 9-foot-tall construction cone out of chicken wire, plaster, and other materials. And they wheeled it down the street to its home near the Art Sign on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
The media took notice, with coverage by The Columbus Dispatch and Good Day Columbus.
The cone will be up on campus for the remainder of the construction in 2018.
