CXC at CCAD Keynote: Mangaka Keito Gaku

Meet Keito Gaku in person, learn about the intricacies of manga creation, and gain insights into this talented artist’s creative process. Whether you're a manga enthusiast, an aspiring artist, or simply curious about Japanese culture, this event is a must-attend!
Keito Gaku is a manga artist and transgender man living in Tokyo, Japan. At age 22, Gaku was awarded the 77th Tetsuya Chiba Prize for his debut one-shot work, Light, which was later adapted into Boys Run the Riot. Boys Run the Riot is his debut manga series and first work to be published in English.
This will be Keito Gaku's first and only North American convention appearance. There will not be a signing at this event—Gaku-sensei will be signing on Sunday, Oct 1. at Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC). To respect the guest's wish for privacy, there will be NO PHOTOS OR VIDEO allowed at the event.
This keynote conversation is free and open to the public. However, registration is encouraged via Eventbrite.
