Fill out that FAFSA ASAP

We get it. It might feel like you just completed your FAFSA (aka, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid), but it’s already time to do it for the 2021–2022 academic year. We understand that forms like this aren’t the most exciting project to tackle, but it’s critical that you fill it out as soon as possible in order to be considered for need-based grants as well as student and parent loans. Fill out your FAFSA online here. Need some help? Schedule a Financial Aid appointment online.

Get your finances straight

Our series of “how to” events hosted by guest speakers from around CCAD continues on Zoom at 11 a.m. (EDT) on Thursday, Oct. 15, with Marketing Project Manager Andrea Jimenez, who will take you through the basics of personal finance

Please take a quick survey beforehand so the session can be tailored to your needs!

MFA visiting artists

Hear from a variety of contemporary artists this semester through our Master of Fine Arts’ visiting artists series. Lecturers include Illustrator Kathryn Otoshi at 12:30 p.m. (EDT) Friday, Oct. 9, Painter Johnathan Payne at 12:30 p.m. (EDT) Friday, Oct. 30, and Photographer Dawit Petros at 12:30 p.m. (EST) Friday, Nov. 20. A stylish scholar

CCAD student Ryder Teach (Fashion Design, 2021) has been selected to receive this year’s Fashion Week Columbus scholarship. Students light up SÕL-CON
Majed Badra (Illustration and Comics & Narrative Practice, 2021) and Lexi Ramos were among several CCAD family members who took part in SÕL-CON at The Ohio State University Sept. 10–12. The comic convention brings together local youth, industry insiders, indie comic creators and exhibitors, and the public to discuss comics; learn how to make comics, zines, animation, storyboards and other materials; and meet and learn from Black and Latinx creators.
