Curator and artist Jo-ey Tang to lead CCAD’s Beeler Gallery
Curator, artist, and art critic Jo-ey Tang will head Columbus College of Art & Design’s Beeler Gallery, effective June 15.
Tang was curator at Palais de Tokyo, Paris, from 2014 to 2015, and arts editor of literary magazine n+1 from 2009 to 2014.

Bright work by CCAD grads on billboards, at arts fest
Columbus College of Art & Design alumni are making their mark on the city in a big way this spring and summer. Starting in April, and for about a year to follow, work by five local artists, including three CCAD grads, will be on view on billboards throughout Franklin County as part of the first ArtPop Cbus street gallery.

Ninety-five teens — high school juniors and seniors from around central Ohio — spend half of their school days away from textbooks and traditional classrooms, and immersed in Columbus, meeting guest speakers, visiting art galleries, learning about politics and religion, and completing internships, reported The Columbus Dispatch.
