A trio of leaders who have made major impact at Columbus College of Art & Design and points beyond are being honored with 2017 Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Community Arts Partnership Awards. CCAD Board of Trustees member Mark Corna is the winner of the Michael B. Coleman Arts Partner Award, and Marshall Shorts and Corey Favor, both CCAD grads and co-founders of Creative Control Fest, were named winners of GCAC’s Emerging Arts Leader Award. CCAD nominated the three for the award.

Walking into BeecherHill, a local executive search firm, may feel more like entering an art museum. The recruiting company’s original location in the Gahanna/New Albany area was built to house medical offices and did not accommodate BeecherHill’s desired warmth and creativity. The firm recently made the move to a fresh space along the Scioto River that has since been filled with local artwork, including that of CCAD's former President, Denny Griffith.

Scottish craft brewer BrewDog has appointed CCAD Board of Trustee member Tanisha Robinson Managing Director of BrewDog USA ahead of the official launch of its 100-square-foot brewery in Columbus. According to the news release announcing her appointment, Robinson will be responsible for establishing the BrewDog brand, sales strategy, operational growth, and developing its American bar division.
