Easton Town Center, located in Columbus, OH, recently printed and distributed their 2012 directory, which features Fashion Design alumna Rachel Cass (CCAD 2012).

Earlier this year, Easton Town Center awarded Cass their inaugural 2012 Fashion Design Award. In addition to the trophy and cash prize, the award included prominent placement in the Center's directory, which includes two models on the front cover wearing Cass' original designs and Cass on the back cover holding her award.

The Easton Fashion Award was created as a partnership between CCAD and Easton Town Center.

Fashion Design alumna Annie Kocher (CCAD 2009) was recently featured in Alive!, a digital and print weekly that covers Columbus, OH, city life.

Kocher designed a custom wedding dress for a client who wanted to combine fabrics from her mother and grandmother’s wedding gowns.

Fashion Design alumna Genoveva Christoff (CCAD 2009) has proven herself as someone to watch—and recently she has spent a lot of time watching her designs go down a runway in front of fashion's elites.

Christoff was selected as one of four designers to present in the Diet Pepsi Style Studio Show during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City.

According to a recent Columbus Alive article, the Fashion Design alumna heard about the competition on Facebook and quickly put together a design for a floor-length chiffon gown for her entry. Christoff's design was one of 670 entered; after a public voting process 25 designs were selected.

Alumna Nicky Epstein is finishing her 24^th book, Knitting Circles, which will be published by Random House in August 2012.

The 1974 Fashion Design and Advertising & Graphic Design graduate’s success has allowed her to make a career out of her knit designs. She got her start in professional knitting design 20 years ago in California when she entered her sweater "Unicorn in the Garden" to McCall’s magazine sweater design contest and took first prize.
