Alumni show work together
Adjunct faculty and Fine Arts alumnus Michael Stillion (CCAD 2002) and Fine Arts alumna Kate Labmeier (CCAD 2002) recently exhibited their work at Marshall University’s Birke Art Gallery.
This is the first time the husband-and-wife duo has shown work together. The exhibit features oil paintings and drawings by Stillion and embroidered animal portraits by Labmeier.

Alumna, faculty in group exhibitions
Adjunct instructor and Fine Arts alumna Susan O'Connor (CCAD 1996) is part of the group exhibition Power, Politics, and Performance at Steinhilber Art Gallery in Madison, WI, Sept. 3–Oct. 6.
The exhibition is held in conjunction with the 36th Annual Wisconsin Women's Studies Conference and the 7th Annual UW System LGBTQ Conference.

Alumna shows work at Ohio gallery
Fine Arts alumna Amanda C. VanDenberg (CCAD 2010) showed her work in a group exhibition at the Little Art Gallery in North Canton, OH.
In the exhibition, Essential Momentum, VanDenberg presented her self-portrait series Madonna Complex.
The exhibition was on display July 21–Aug. 18, 2012.

Alumni murals grace Columbus buildings
Three alumni are involved in one of the many public art projects being produced in celebration of the bicentennial of Columbus, Ohio.
Illustration alumna Marty Husted (CCAD 1979), Fine Arts alumna Heather Nibert (CCAD 2012), and Advertising & Graphic Design alumnus Mark Thomas (CCAD 1990) are each participating in the project 10x10x10: 10 Murals, 10 Galleries, 10 Openings.

Alumna installs sculpture on college's library
Fine Arts alumna Olga Ziemska (CCAD 2000) recently finished installing her sculpture at the Columbus State Community College (CSCC) main library. The piece was commissioned by CSCC and the Ohio Arts Council as part of the Percent for Art program.
The sculpture, Indra, consists of stainless steel circles and symbols. Ziemska surveyed more then 200 students to help her choose the symbols, many of which represent current areas of study at the school.

Alumna exhibits work in West Virginia
Fine Arts alumna Kerry Kunze (CCAD 2011) is exhibiting her work at Zenclay Gallery in Morgantown, WV, Aug. 4–Sept. 28, 2012.
The solo exhibition, Veils, features her recent paintings and drawings. There will be a reception Aug. 4, 6:30–8 p.m.
Kunze will also be showing her work in a group exhibition at the Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Schnormeier Gallery in Mount Vernon, OH, Feb. 25–April 4, 2013.
