Alumnus works on nostalgic projects
Illustration alumnus Jason Goad (CCAD 1996) has been keeping a busy freelance illustration business going by partnering with some big-name brands and projects.
For the last seven years, Goad has been freelancing with Mattel's Hot Wheels. His most recent Hot Wheels project was working on their new Nostalgia Nose Art series, which pulls inspiration from iconic brands such as Hershey's, General Mills, Masters of the Universe, and DC Comics.

Alumnus presents at Midwest conference
Illustration alumnus Anthony Baker (CCAD 1986) presented at a conference recently about the importance of art in the classroom.
Baker presented with coworker Tammy Thompson during a session at The Ohio State University's Innovate, an annual conference featuring the best uses of technology in teaching and learning at universities and colleges across the Midwest.

Alumnus’ iPad app receives international award
Ron Miller (CCAD 1970) created the illustrations for an iPad app Journey to the Exoplanets, which received a bronze medal Lovie Award for Best Tablet App within the Education and Reference category.

Alumna participates in portrait exhibition
Alumna Nicole Bruckman (CCAD 2000) has work included in an upcoming exhibition at WWA Gallery in Culver City, California.
The exhibition, About Face, features more than 40 artists who are exploring contemporary approaches to portraiture.
Bruckman pulls inspiration for her portraits from fairy tales and folklore and incorporates animals and scenes of nature in her work.
