Recent Animation alumna Sarah Schmidt's animated short Space Puppy (In Space) was one of 10 submissions selected for the Midsummer Night Toons VI animation event and screening in New York City on June 20.

ROY G BIV Gallery will show the work of CCAD alumni John F. Malta (Illustration 2010) and Nichole Senter (Photography 2010) in GOOD GRIEF June 7–28.

The exhibition will feature installations, posters, drawings, and paintings by the CCAD alumni alongside work by Michael Marine, longtime friend of Malta and Senter. The three have been collaborating on comics and zines for the last ten years.

CCAD alumna Ronnie Walter (1977) recently published a book, License to Draw: How I Built a Fun Career in Art Licensing and You Can Too!

Part memoir and part how-to guide, the book reveals how Walter licensed hundreds of her designs for use on gifts, stationery, and fabrics.
